RSA Tower and Battle House Back to Back News Conferences Today
Exciting news on the political front from Mobile. Congressman Jo Bonner and Congressman Artur Davis stood side by side promising a bi-partisian push in Washington. At a KC-45 Northrop Grumman packed house at the RSA Tower, Spring Hill College President Rev. Richard Salmi kicked off the spirited meeting with an Irish prayer saying Lord teach us to love our friends, and reach out to our rivals with Love, and Lord if they are not persuaded to be our friends, Lord reach out and grab their ankles, so we identify them by their limp! The second Department of Defense RFP bid has been submitted, and if awarded to Northrop Grumman would be built by Airbus-EADS in Mobile. The Mobile delegation proposed a new bid or split to end the politics. The Port of Mobile also greeted the Panama Ambassador to the United States at the RSA Tower. Mayor Sam Jones noted that on the way to the meeting he saw the new Carnival Cruise ship Fantasy was Panamanian flagged as was the freighter ship that passed by before the meeting!
